BLACK GIRLS FARM
Join the cooperative and grow in knowledge and equity! Grow Your Own Food & Medicine
Here Are The Basics
What started as a small neighborly gesture soon grew into a hyper-localized CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) project that has flourished into a thriving community known as Black Girls Farm Cooperative. Our mission is to promote hands-on education, urban farming, and homesteading practices in Washington DC, Maryland and surrounding areas. Through our efforts, we strive to eradicate food deserts, champion food sovereignty, and address the pressing issues of food justice. By transforming ordinary yards into bountiful edible gardens, we empower individuals to take control of their food sources and create sustainable solutions. Join us in this movement towards a more equitable and nourished community.
